Wild Blueberry Crispy Rice Treats

Ingredients

 Directions:

  1. Melt the butter in a large saucepan. Add the marshmallows and stir until completely melted.  
  2. Add the rice crispy cereal and stir until well combined.  
  3. Gently fold in the blueberries, ground flax and collagen powder. 
  4. Press the mixture into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan lined with parchment paper.  
  5. Allow to cool completely before serving!  

This recipe can stand alone without the ground flax and/or collagen powder. But for a healthy twist, ground flaxseed is rich in fiber and high in healthy fats known as Omega 3’s. Flax can help to stabilize blood sugar and lower cholesterol levels. Collagen is the most abundant protein in your body. As you age, collagen production declines. Collagen is a great addition for skin, hair, nail, heart and joint health!
