Great with Wild Blueberries, Strawberries or Red Raspberries!
To make simple syrup Bring 2 cups sugar and 2 cups water to a boil in a medium saucepan, stirring until sugar dissolves. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.
Sorbet Directions Puree berries and 1/3 cup water in a blender. Pour through a coarse sieve into a bowl. If necessary, strain again in a fine sieve to reduce solids. You should have two cups of the puree.
Stir in simple syrup.
Refrigerate until cold, about 1 hour. Process in ice cream maker according to instructions, about 25 minutes. Transfer to chilled, airtight container and freeze until it hardens (at least for 1 hour and up to 3 days).
Creative variations: Choose your favorite Wyman’s frozen fruit or fruit blend to create your own unique sorbet variations. Spices, lemon or lime juice, balsamic vinegar and even pepper can add an unexpected zip to the flavor of your sorbet.
